since I posted on here. There have been a LOT of cakes since July, however I lost my camera, so have been using my sisters for the time being... it's a little more difficult to work with that than my own, but I wanted to put this cake up before I lost the images on my computer.
I had the honour of working with Bisa and her Mom to create this beautiful 5-tier wedding cake. It was not exactly what we had planned it to be, but I think the end result was worth all the stress. I love this cake and I hope Bisa did, too!
Cakes were all white cake, 3 layers were filled with lemon curd, 2 were filled with french vanilla mousse. All cakes were covered with buttercreme and handmade white marshmallow fondant. Cakes were wrapped with burgundy and gold fabric ribbons and then decorated with silk flowers in colours to match the beautiful Brides' flower arrangements.
I also got to make the cake topper as well! I really had a lot of fun doing this cake! It was a great learning experience, and well worth the time!
Enjoy!
